With this excitement, I was able to work as well as go to school full time and make it on the Deans list. I am transferring to CSUSM and I am excited to see where this next chapter in life will take me.

How the San Marcos Promise Impacted You

Going to college is something that I have always been excited for even at a young age. Without the San Marcos Promise, financially, my family would struggle making my college dream come to life. I am very thankful that I get the opportunity to get an education without constantly stressing over tuition fees and books. The San Marcos Promise has given me the support and confidence to peruse a career path of helping others.

Something About You That is a Surprise

I grew up in a musical family and I have been singing since I was two. Even with family and money struggles, music is something that has kept my family close together and has moved me in a way that nothing else can. I am also fluent in American Sign Language.
