Scholar Bio

My name is Sergio Acosta and I’m a recent graduate of San Marcos High School. As an incoming freshman to Cal State San Marcos, I have chosen to major in Computer Science. During my 7th and 8th grade year at San Marcos Middle, I went into a few electives that allowed me to get a better understanding of computers and how they worked. It wasn’t until I took an IT Academy class in high school that I started to get a better understanding of different programming languages and networking. My hope for the future is to become a Software Developer and work for a company like Google and use the skills I have acquired to create products and services that people are able to enjoy.
